Our topic for the second half term of Spring has been Food! Each week we have cooked a different recipe inspired by a traditional tale. So far we have made breakfast muffins after reading Goldilocks, bean burgers after reading Jack and the Beanstalk and a stripy zebra cake after reading The Pied Piper. This week we read Snow White and baked some apple, custard and cinnamon cakes – they tasted just like apple pie! It also happened to be Red Nose Day so we put a cherry on top to celebrate the day!
